Magnolia Edwin with Christmas Lantern Shaker Card

Hi crafty friends! Today, it’s time for new challenge at Magnolia Forever. The theme for this challenge is

I decided to create a Christmas card in male tone to stay away from pink colour. I used the new stamp “Edwin with Christmas Lantern” from the latest collection A Lovely Christmas. Most decorations were from Doohickey Club volume 7 “Holidays are coming”. The snow scene die cut was so cute and I think it would be perfect for shaker card. Here is my creation for this challenge.

Materials:
  • Magnolia “Edwin with Christmas Lantern” stamp from A Lovely Christmas 2015 collection
  • Magnolia DooHickey Club Volume 7 “Holidays are coming”
  • Spellbinders Nestabilities “Grand Ovals” Dies
  • Paper from LOTV
  • Embellishments – Pearl stamens/ berries, shaker materials, glitter
  • Gesso

Sweet Pastel Present Shaped Card

Hi crafty friends! It’s time for Marvelous Magnolia reminder post today. The current challenge is

You have 1 more week to submit your project here.

To stay away from fall colours like yellow, orange, and brown, I selected pastel blue, purple, and pink for this project as they are my favourite colours. And I’m glad this theme is not for autumn because I really wanted to use new Magnolia stamps which are in Christmas theme. I used one of the stamps from the Fall 2015 Stamp club. This is “Lace Hood Tilda” from the new preorder A Lovely Christmas 2015 collection. She is holding a Christmas gift box so I create a present shaped card to match with the image.

Autumn Paper Bag

Hello crafty friends!
October has come. I wish I'm watching leaves and trees turning yellow like in many countries but it’s just hot and wet all year in Thailand. To share today is my project I created for the new Magnolia Forever challenge. The theme for this challenge is

I picked up a shopping paper bag and altered it with autumn theme decorations. I stamped Tim Holtz “Leaf Line” rubber stamp with distress ink “Vintage Photo”, “Spiced Marmalade”, and “Scattered Straw” onto a piece of kraft paper cut from another paper bag to make autumn patterned paper. I really loved the result. Most decorations are die-cuts from Magnolia Doohickey Club volume 6 “Harvest”. I used Magnolia stamp “Chic Fringe Tilda” from latest Boho collection and old “Hiking Background” to be an image for this project.
